Steven J. Olson, DVM
Dr. Olson moved to the Twin Cities, from Grand Forks, ND, in 1989 to enter veterinary school at the University of Minnesota. After graduating in 1992, he has worked in small animal practice in the Twin Cities. He is enthusiastic about continuing education, gaining extensive training in diagnostic ultrasonography, and in veterinary dentistry techniques.
He joined the ranks at East Lake in the spring of 2003, and became owner of the practice in the spring of 2007. He was drawn to ELAC by the deep relationship the clinic has with the people in the surrounding community.
Sally B. Dale, DVM
Dr. Sally Dale first came to ELAC in the mid-1970s, knowing she wanted to spend her life working with animals. After graduation from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985, she returned to ELAC as an associate veterinarian in 1989. She enjoys the long-term relationships she has with her clients and this community.
Dr. Dale provides quality general medicine with a special interest in senior pets and those living with chronic health conditions. With years of experience and a passion for continuing education, she strives to offer the best mix of support for every animal under her care.
Dr. Dale lives in South Minneapolis with her husband Rex, and their two cats, Toby and Squidge. They have a grown daughter. When not in the office, Dr. Dale spends much of her free time volunteering at a local grade school library. She enjoys kayaking and biking in the summer, cross-country skiing in the winter, and reading great children’s literature at any time (on the sofa with her cats, of course).
David Antenucci, DVM
Dr. Antenucci began working at East Lake Animal Clinic in late 2007.
Cindy has three dogs that she bids farewell to before taking the four-block stroll to East Lake Animal Clinic. In 2000, she graduated from Minnesota Institute of Medicine (MIM) and has been on staff here since 2003. Her pets consist of dogs Humphrey, Zsa Zsa, and Dinky.
In November 2004, Deana came to us through an internship from Argosy University, (formerly MIM). She lives in the neighborhood, and serves as a full time CVT.
Josie graduated from the Medical Institute of MN in 2000. She joined the ELAC team in 2012, after working in several other Twin Cities practices. She has a special interest in feline and canine dentistry, and in client education. When she is not at work, she takes care of her own furry gang—two rescue dogs, Paco and Daisy, and 5 adopted/rescued cats, Sassy, Percy, Ivy, Lucius, and Leonard (the naughty one). She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and is also a huge movie buff.
Nicholas graduated from Minnesota School of Business in March 2013 with an Associates in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology, later receiving his certification in August of that same year. He hails from the Northern suburbs. When not at work, he enjoys disc golf, video games, and answering to the needs of his two feline masters, Dinah and Blanche.
Samantha graduated from Minnesota School of Business in Lakeville in the fall of 2012, and became certified that winter. She shares her home with her boyfriend, Dustin, and their daughter Charli. She has two female cats named Asia and Louis. Asia loves to cuddle, and Louis loves to play! They plan to add a dog to the family very soon! Her passion has been animals since day one.
Kathy is a veteran technician serving ELAC since 1988. When asked what initially brought her here, she says that it was during an internship at another local clinic when "Dr. McDougall stole me." Practically a permanent fixture around here, we appreciate Kathy’s commitment to her work. Claiming her dog "Jiggle" looks more like a Holstein Cow than the pitbull mix she is, she loves her despite her insane ways.
Casey, Customer Service
Casey grew up in a small town in Alabama. After graduating from Birmingham-Southern College with a degree in English, he moved with his husband and 2 fur-kids, Benji, a Yorkie mix, and Aphrodite, a ragdoll cat, to Minneapolis on a whim one spring. Casey has a background in customer service and loves meeting new people and their animal companions. When not working at ELAC, Casey writes for his website, Two City Vegans, plays video games, and loves experimenting in the kitchen
